DRESDEN CEMETERY
Minooka, IL
November 27, 2011
HISTORY
Dresden Cemetery, located in Grundy County, Minooka, Illinois, is one of the oldest cemeteries in the area. It is also known as Old St. Mary's Cemetery and St. Anthony's Cemetery. Many graves are of Irish decedent. Gravestones are scattered throughout the small plot, some toppled over and some partially buried in the ground. The grounds are kept up but the gravestones appear forgotten by the living.
CLAIMS
Some of the bodies were moved to a newer cemetery in town possibly due to a flood. It is rumored one boy's body was left behind because they could not find it and now he roams the grounds looking for his family who were also buried there.
The mule barn built in 1834 across the street is also rumored to be haunted with sightings of a male ghost. This is where The Abyss Haunted House is located during Halloween.
EVIDENCE
Photographic
This was the first photo I took. Notice the orb in front of the tree in the first picture but it is gone in the second. Paranormal? I'm not convinced but it's interesting. It could be a rain drop.
UPDATE: Our Twitter friend @normanglasser1 noticed something in the above photo. He saw a mist between the red gravestone on the right and the small shiny stone. I blew the picture up and sure enough there is a mist in the photo with the white orb but not in the next photo. Below are two enlarged photos. Thanks Norman!
Audio
We have one interesting clip. While standing near the little boy's gravestone, the birds went crazy. Paranormal? Maybe or maybe the birds didn't like us in their territory.
HAUNTED HUMOR
Joe complaining about the weather.
