Love the setup of your website that I came across while searching paranormal group in Central Illinois. I live in Pana, Illinois (south of Decatur) and have been interested in the paranormal for a couple of years now just by watching shows, documentaries, and hearing stories. I have not really had an experience before but would love to hopefully someday get out an visit some locations. Keep up the good work!!

You can try asking spirits questions maybe at a cemetery or local haunted place and see if you get any EVPs. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us. Some cities offer paranormal tours of the haunted spots in the area. Those are always fun to try. Cyndi

I just stopped by to look at your equipment. I'm searching for a new Camcorder. I also left you a message on FB..I have 3 handy cams and love all 3. Changing disks are a pain but its worth the video you get.. I also bought a sony camcorder and a bell and howell to compare..I sent the sony back. I know you can read the reviews but I like to check things out for myself. I ran both camcorders for 2 nights. No difference in picture quality at all. In fact Bell and Howell was a bit sharper. Hi Karen. Yes, love the sony handy cams. Ours has a hard drive in addition to the option of using a memory stick or disc. Bell and Howell I've heard is a good camcorder to use also. We had a guest come with us once that had one. I just didn't like our brand of full spectrum camcorder (SpecterCam), another brand might be better. Thanks for stopping by. Cyndi

I discovered your great site by searching for alien scratches after some mysterious scratches appeared on my lower arm. I live alone, do not have a pet, and wear long sleeved pajamas - so am unlikely to have scratched myself! A few days later some similar scratches appeared on the other arm in the identical position! Some years ago, when my youngest daughter was about 13 , there was some sort of disturbance in her room which woke me, as I was sleeping in the next room . This was most unusual as she was a quiet child. My instinct was, of course, to go and investigate, but couldn't move. (I know about the misnamed sleep paralysis) In the morning there was a triangular mark on her left lower arm and she vehemently refused to talk about what happened - which was unusual for her as we usually were very open with each other!

I found y'all on Twitter. ( I am a follower of y'all) I live in my own haunted house. My house (and other houses) are built on a former cemetery and Native land. Not sure who is haunting my home. Neighbors have gotten odd pics in their home too. This neighborhood I live in is rich in history both good and bad. Since moving here a few years ago, my interest in the paranormal has increased and wanting to know why places are haunted and all. Great site y'all!

Great site, I have a feeling I'll be spending plenty of time here going through all the posts!
I've lived in a haunted apt (entirely positive experience with a pleasant & curious lady. When I was moving stuff over I used to go in & think "someone just left" you know that feeling? Well it was a furnished place with housekeepers so I assumed it was them. After moving, my Mom & I were watching TV. From the right peripheral I saw a solid looking black shadow come through the wall & lean over. My Mom said "did you see that?" I said "the lady who leaned through the wall?"
Mom had seen her in detail, a lady in a 1920s maid uniform similar to uniforms she'd seen in photos, the lady bent over & looked at the TV then at us. I'd seen the black shape do this also. The cats used to sit and watch something I couldn't see progress around the room every night. They were never alarmed, but fascinated. The way they moved when watching changed & once they walked into the kitchen as if to follow. A very nice ghost. Twitter name BranLwyd

I live near Bachelor's Grove Cemetery and visit occasionally. Never had a paranormal experience there, but a few nights ago I saw two SUVs parked at the entrance along with two Cook County Forest Preserve police cruisers. Wondered what they were doing there at 9:30 at night so I contacted the the guy who maintains the Bachelor's Grove website and he told me that it was the Ghost Hunters TV show filming for a future episode. I know I'll be looking for it!

I can honestly say I've seen things my whole life, I've had dreams that come true my whole life, and as I've gotten older I can hear things before they actually happen, I feel things, I get visions of things that end up happening. in about 1995 in the spring me and some friends went to batchlers grove. it was getting dark,a friend was sitting on the stone with the(waffle pattern)on it,she said than the stone was vibrating.we all put our hands on it,it was vibrating!! we left soon after.also i have seen the orbs on 2 visits.some really freaky stuff there.

Hi there ! Nice site ! I'll be stopping by checking out what you all catch along the way. For myself, I have fond memories of Bachelors Grove, as my mom used to drop me off there in the summer or on weekends when I was 11 or 12yrs old to fish that very pond ! while she went about her business for the day, she'd pick me up a few hours later, I used to hang around at the cemetery when the fish weren't biting, I've even had some "voice's" asking me "how the fish were biting" or someone would tell me "you're baiting the hook wrong" lol...I was NEVER scared to be there, always felt at home there...crazy huh ? anyways, I'd like to go back there to say "hi" to my old friends, ok, I've said enough, lol, I'll Cya around, take care, Mike

I'm starting to start my own group. Have some of the equipment. K2 meter, voice recorder, need night vision cameras and reg digital cameras. I have experiences every day at my home. I've sent in couple of pics to freaky photos of handprints that form every few months. Big supporter of the paranormal community!

I have not gone to Reder Rd., at least not as an adult, but I do remember the story about the boy that takes his girlfriend down there to park, he gets out of the car to investigate a noise and she hears scraping on the roof, doesn't end well. Wondered what they were doing there at 9:30 at night so I contacted the the guy who maintains the Bachelor's Grove website and he told me that it was the Ghost Hunters TV show filming for a future episode. I know I'll be looking for it!

I can honestly say I've seen things my whole life, I've had dreams that come true my whole life, and as I've gotten older I can hear things before they actually happen, I feel things, I get visions of things that end up happening. in about 1995 in the spring me and some friends went to batchlers grove. it was getting dark,a friend was sitting on the stone with the(waffle pattern)on it,she said than the stone was vibrating.we all put our hands on it,it was vibrating!! we left soon after.also i have seen the orbs on 2 visits.some really freaky stuff there.

Hi there ! Nice site ! I'll be stopping by checking out what you all catch along the way. For myself, I have fond memories of Bachelors Grove, as my mom used to drop me off there in the summer or on weekends when I was 11 or 12yrs old to fish that very pond ! while she went about her business for the day, she'd pick me up a few hours later, I used to hang around at the cemetery when the fish weren't biting, I've even had some "voice's" asking me "how the fish were biting" or someone would tell me "you're baiting the hook wrong" lol...I was NEVER scared to be there, always felt at home there...crazy huh ? anyways, I'd like to go back there to say "hi" to my old friends, ok, I've said enough, lol, I'll Cya around, take care, Mike

I'm starting to start my own group. Have some of the equipment. K2 meter, voice recorder, need night vision cameras and reg digital cameras. I have experiences every day at my home. I've sent in couple of pics to freaky photos of handprints that form every few months. Big supporter of the paranormal community!

I heard about this site through a friend, and I have gone through all the pictures and read just about everything on the website. Have you gone to Reder Rd.?? I was there some years back and the way the story goes have proven that could not have happened for many years now!!

I have not gone to Reder Rd., at least not as an adult, but I do remember the story about the boy that takes his girlfriend down there to park, he gets out of the car to investigate a noise and she hears scraping on the roof, doesn't end well. That story is an urban legend that is associated with many places. It would be interesting to find out if anything really did happen on that road. Cyndi
