2018 TRAVEL ADVENTURES
2018 is shaping up to be a great travel year for me. Here is a preview of some of the adventures I have planned.
In the month of April I will be spending a long weekend in Las Vegas for my anniversary. We hit Sin City every few years since this is the place where my husband and I got married 20 years ago! We even renewed our vows at the KISS Hotter Than Hell Chapel for our 15th wedding anniversary. This year we are planning to check out Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum, the Zip Line down Fremont Street, the Atomic Testing Museum and take in a Criss Angel show for starters. We are also spending an entire day in a top secret location in the middle of the desert sky watching for UFOs. I will blog about all of our adventures and review each location when I return.
April 21st is booked for Poasttown Elementary School in Ohio. This is a well known haunted location where we will be staying all night in hopes of experiencing some paranormal activity.
I will be spending a weekend in New York this May investigating the Hinsdale House which is a haunted house featured on the TV show Paranormal Lockdown and also Wildwood Sanatorium. This haunted asylum is newly opened for paranormal investigators and will be featured on the next season of Paranormal Lockdown.
May brings the Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan. I've always wanted to check out this spring time festival and the beautiful flowers.
In June I will be spending an entire week at a remote log cabin in Northern Minnesota in search of Bigfoot. This cabin is the only one on the lake and is very secluded. We have stayed at this location in the past and it is the perfect place to hunt for the beast. As seen in the photo above, there is a small island on the private lake that we plan to camp overnight on to see what nocturnal animals we can find. The fishing is phenomenal and the guys plan to hit the lake daily. No wonder Bigfoot likes this area. Here is the link to our previous trip.
This month I will also be attending a members only event held by the Museum of the Paranormal and Occult which promises to include a late night seance at Ashmore Estates, Illinois.
July brings an investigation at the haunted Randolph Asylum in Indiana. We investigated this location last year and plan to return for a second time to stay all night in the haunted building. I slept alone in a section of the building last year and didn't sleep much due to the paranormal activity. Check out our investigation here.
In August I will be leaving the country for Tulum, Mexico, where I have rented a house on the beach for a week. We will be in search of cenotes, Margaritas, ancient Mayan ruins, and the spirits that linger in these abandoned structures.
An investigation of a mystery at Starved Rock, Illinois, is in store for September. We will be camping out in the Hunters Bus for the weekend. We are also attending a UFO Conference in Michigan for the first time this month.
A new location is booked for October, Revenant Acres, where UFO sightings have occurred along with a haunted house on the land. This month I will also be taking a week long RV trip, location is still undecided. Maybe we'll just pack our bags and see where the road takes us.
As always, I will post a blog about each of these adventures and review all the sites, restaurants, hotels, and campsites we have experienced and let you know what I loved and what I didn't like so much.
